Hi, we’re Cade and Sarah!
Our Story
Long story short - we’re high school sweethearts who have been friends since the first day of 6th grade. After 4.5 years of long distance dating through college, we tied the knot and took off on a year-long honeymoon across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Now we’re back in the states ready to start the next chapter! Read below to learn a little bit more about us.
Meet Cade!
I grew up playing ice hockey in Florida (ironic, I know). I was often described as a coachable kid. I love learning, everything from new languages to new recipes. Prior to our year-long trip, I had only been to Canada (for a hockey tournament). My perspective expanded overseas. I climbed real rock for the first time in Malaysia and fell in love. I quickly learned all the skills necessary to become a safe and confident climber. I now aspire to combine my love for climbing with my extensive experience in construction to build treehouses. When I’m not practicing carpentry, you can find me in my family’s homemade cold-tub or reading to one of our three nephews.
Meet Sarah!
I was born and raised in Florida (the flattest of the 50 states), so I have always dreamed of the mountains. I had the opportunity to hike Machu Picchu for my 18th birthday and have had the travel bug ever since. As a wildlife biologist, I became eager to work overseas and see how research is conducted in other countries. On our year-long trip, I studied dolphins in Cambodia and manta rays and sea turtles in Indonesia. I now have my eyes set on graduate studies with plans to pursue a Master’s in 2026. When I’m not planning our next adventure, you can find me either reading or rollerblading.
